Wool Applique, Wool Dyeing and Needle Felting

EZ-Wool Works Was designed to provide instruction, patterns, kits and inspiration!  It is a collaboration of two quilting teachers with over 20 years of combined experience.

Shirley McGuire is an educator with a BA in Home Economics/Textiles and an MA in education.  She has taught kindergarten through college level.  For the past 10 years, Shirley has taught quilting through adult school, private venues and quilting guilds.

Maureen Waterhouse is an accomplished quilter and teacher who has found her niche in wool applique design and hand dyed wools.

"Wool Applique Without Going Broke" was amusing and full of helpful tips from inexpensively obtained wool to hand dyeing wool. All attendees of the workshop had a blast while completing two projects using applique and needle felting techniques.  Kits were a great value.

About Us

The ladies at the Fallbrook Quilt Guild loved the beautiful quilts and penny-wise tips Shirley and Maureen shared in their presentation.  They also taught a fantastic workshop that was fun and informative while giving us the tools and techniques to complete our projects.  If you're looking for a creative, fun and informative program I highly recommend Shirley and Maureen.
